Shipping

Every purchase you make with us is shipped carbon neutral.

Our Carbon Neutral Offsets minimize the environmental impact of shipping and support forest protection initiatives. Through Pachama we support projects led by reforestation experts and conservationists. Learn more at pachama.com

Offsets are a great start to help with our impact on the planet, but only work post damage. The best way to keep your carbon footprint low is to make better, more conscious decisions. We discourage the use of express shipping, and “change of mind” returns due to the environmental impact of double shipping and wasted packaging. For the sake of the planet, we’d rather you take longer when making the decision to purchase from us, to make sure it's right for you.

Terms to know if you're into the nitty gritty
Post Consumer Waste: Recycled content that is sorted and sent to a reclaimer after it has been used. Printed copy paper, shipped boxes, used milk cartons, or water bottles that have been put back into the recycling stream are all examples of PCW.
Post Industrial Waste: Scraps generated from manufacturing that are melted down to be put back into the manufacturing process.
Composting: When an item is put into a compost bin or facility, allowing it to break down into compost (aka fertilizer). You can search for composting centers near you at FindAComposter.com.
Curbside Recyclable: Curbside recycling programs are all very different. Some accept dozens of materials, while others only accept a few. When only use the term curbside recyclable when the vast majority of curbside recycling programs in the US accept the product.
FSC Certified: The Forest Stewardship Council is a non-profit that sets standards to ensure forestry is practiced in an environmentally responsible manner. FSC certifications are considered the "gold standard" for wood harvesting. Certified materials are always responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious, and economically viable.
